On October 29, students of group 6k9391 with curator A. M. Alshevskaya and teacher of Russian language and literature E. I. Shvets went to the Drama Theater of the Belarusian Army for the production of “The Thunderstorm” based on the work of A. N. Ostrovsky.

The theater was greeted with majestic silence and a special smell of the stage. When the curtain rose, the guys immediately plunged into the atmosphere of the merchant Zamoskvorechye. The plot told about the tragic fate of Katerina, who could not come to terms with the hypocrisy and cruelty of the “dark kingdom”. This story touched to the core: the theme of confrontation between the individual and society was revealed very honestly and deeply, without unnecessary pathos, but with great attention to the experiences of the main character.

The performance teaches fortitude, fidelity to love and the ability to protest against injustice, finding the strength to take a decisive step.
