Primary organization of the public association “Belarusian Union of Women” of the educational institution “Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics” branch “Minsk Radio Engineering College”.

Aims of the organization

The aims of the Women's Union are to help protect the rights and legitimate interests of women, families and children, to ensure the dignified position of women in society, and to enhance the role of women in the socio-political, socio-economic and cultural life of the country.

The organization's objectives are

- Active participation of women in public administration, the economy and the social sphere;
– Promotion of women in decision-making, introduction and realization of the principles of gender equality in the life of society;
– Promoting the strengthening of the family, recognizing the socially useful significance of motherhood and effective parenthood, protecting children's rights and improving women's health;
– Participation in elections in accordance with the electoral legislation of the Republic of Belarus;
– Contributing to the development of moral and spiritual values and the preservation of cultural traditions;
– assistance and participation in the professional training and retraining, advanced training of women, social protection and realization of their right to work, support for them in entrepreneurial and commercial activities, including small and medium-sized businesses;
– Developing international cooperation and establishing cooperation with public organizations in other States and international organizations dealing with women, families and children;
– Carrying out charitable and humanitarian activities and providing comprehensive assistance to women, families and children in need.
