The Department of Computer Technologies trains students in the specialty 2-40 01 01 “Information Technology Software” in full-time and part-time and in the specialty 5-04-0612-02 “Development and maintenance of information systems software”.
At the department of computer technologies the training of students in the specialty 2-40 01 01 “Software of information technologies” in accordance with the educational standard of secondary special education, approved by the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus from 22.07.2019 № 112 and in the specialty 5-04-0612-02 “Development and maintenance of software of information systems” in accordance with the educational standard of secondary special education, approved by the decision of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus from 22.07.2019 № 112 is carried out.
Training on specialty 2-40 01 01 01 “Software of information technologies”, qualification “technician-programmer” is carried out in full-time (full-time) and part-time forms of education.
Training on specialty 5-04-0612-02 “Development and maintenance of information systems software”, qualification “technician-programmer” is carried out in full-time (full-time) and distance forms of education.
Education is carried out on the basis of general basic education (9 grades) and general secondary education (11 grades).
Students of the department of computer technologies participate in Olympiads of various levels, competitions, conferences, conduct research work. The department organizes meetings with representatives of organizations-customers, IT-companies, specialists in the field of programming, graduates of the college. Students also attend specialized exhibitions, hackathons and seminars in the IT sphere.
Upon graduation from Minsk Radio Engineering College graduates have an opportunity to get higher education in a shortened period of time in related specialties according to the results of passing internal entrance tests of higher education institutions.
