The Department of Computer Technologies trains students in the specialty 5–04–0612–02 “Development and maintenance of information systems software” in accordance with the educational standard of secondary specialized education, approved by Decree of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus dated 01.08.2022 No. 219.

Training in the specialty 5–04–0612–02 “Development and maintenance of information systems software”, qualification “technician-programmer” is carried out in full-time (full-time) and distance forms of education.

Education is carried out on the basis of general basic education (9 grades) and general secondary education (11 grades).

Students of the computer technology department participate in olympiads at various levels, competitions, conferences, and conduct research work. The department organizes meetings with representatives of personnel contracting organizations, IT companies, programming specialists, and college graduates. Students also attend specialized exhibitions, hackathons and seminars in the IT field.

After graduating from the Minsk Radio Engineering College, graduates have the opportunity to receive higher education in a shortened period in related specialties based on the results of passing internal entrance tests of higher education institutions.
